With its centralized user management/authorization, administrators can add any number of authorized users to your First Watch Online account and can assign schedule-driven authorization rules for each user. The Web-based interface is optimized for display on PC-based web browsers or smartphones. Whenever a device is operated, a time-sensitive, 128-bit encrypted digital key is from the smartphone to the SecuRemote device via a Bluetooth signal, and configurable notification capabilities can alert a select list of individuals via email whenever a device is operated.

With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Great Concept but BAD for IPHONE Specific Users
I was extremely excited to have learned about this product through a friend. I have an Iphone 4S and was pleased to see that it was supported with my phone. I immediately ordered it! Upon arrival, I found it pretty easy to setup, despite some account activation issues online. I will say, that I spoke with someone in Technical Support who was really helpful to me on a few occasions.
After all was said and done, and I was actually using the item the first day, it seemed to work just fine, UNTIL I got home later on that afternoon. Once I loaded the application, it stated I was "OUT OF BLUETOOTH RANGE" which really concerned me as I was literally on top of my garage door! What I did was look at the Bluetooth Devices under Settings and noticed that the device was "NOT CONNECTED" so I connected it and it worked just fine again...
I decided to call the technician back that I spoke with earlier that AM, and he confirmed to me that this was a problem with ONLY...

Awesome Product. Very Convenient and Easy.
I bought this product for the purpose of being able to send a digital key to my family, friends, cleaner's, and contractor when I'm not able to be home to let them in. It took about 15 minutes to install the device to my garage door operator, and about 2 minutes to download the free application on to my smartphone and pair it using bluetooth with the device. I've already experienced this product saving me 4 hours of time! It's true, comcast came to install new cable to my home and I wasn't able to make the 4 hour time window so I sent the contractor a digital key to my garage and they were able to begin performing the work while I was gone! I can't say enough about this product and how cool it is! I LOVE IT.
First Watch Security SRG717 SecuRemote
one major drawback
OK first by let me say the major major drawback is not First Watch's fault its apples. I called tech support for a little guidance as to having to re-connect the iPhone each time i come back to range to the door they told me that its a apple Bluetooth issue. For this reason alone I wouldn't buy another one until that is worked out. It's a pain to do this each time and much much easier to just have a keypad on the side of the door. Having put the one major thing out there, the rest is easy, I really thought the setup was fairly straight forward and they include all the parts you'll need to finish and make it look nice. I will say we tested with with a droid and it automatically connected so it's really just a iPhone problem. But that's all i have and will ever have so that makes it useless until that get's worked out.
