Warranty: 2-year warranty The Door Lock Sensing Circuit: The Model LGJ includes a speed sensor in the electrical enclosure and a sensing circuit which sends a signal to stop the motor if the door jams, such as would be caused by failure to release the lockbar of a rolling grille before starting the operator. In addition to stopping the motor, if the door or grille is in fully closed position, it will drive the motor in the opposite direction for approximately 1 inch of door travel. This releases the pressure on the lockbar thus allowing the lock to be easily opened. This modification also contains logic that can be used to sense obstruction to door movement in mid-travel. The circuit is programmed to stop a door that is obstructed while opening and reverse a door that is obstructed closing. Warning: THIS FEATURE SHOULD NOT BE USED IN LIEU OF A BOTTOM BAR SENSING EDGE OR OTHER ENTRAPMENT PROTECTION DEVICE. THE CIRCUIT FUNCTIONS ONLY WHEN THE OPERATOR IS STALLED; THEREFORE, IN THE CLOSING MODE, A ROLLING DOOR OR GRILLE WILL "BUNCH UP" BEFORE THE CIRCUIT FUNCTIONS.

First time installing a garage door opener. There were a few tricks or things that seemed in reverse order in the directions. Thinking the deadbolt was "added" security I wasn't planning to us it, but then realized because this lifts the tension cables there is no pressure on the door when its down so in theory someone could open the door about a foot before the cables got tight again.

Installed and operation; i'm very impressed. It's quiet, almost to the point you forget it's opening. The loudest sound is when the auto deadbolt opens with a click, after that it's quieter then if I opened the door manually. The remote lights up when you wave your hand in front of it. The light can be placed anywhere in the room and it turns on when the door opens :). The keypad has a motion sensor that can be set to turn on the light when there is motion in the garage. Very happy with this product.

So far it works great. Instructions were thorough and easy to understand. All parts needed came with the kit. If it turns out to be durable, I would recommend to anyone.
